Thank you for your understanding! Antique table runner rustic ethnic folk handmade embroidered pattern Romanian 1940s traditional tablerunner home decor, decorative textile runner, cottage country village This tablerunner was handmade by the mother of my husbands grandmother, in the 30s or 40s.

Pattern is typical for the south area of Romania (historical regions of Oltenia and Muntenia). Signs of usage, stains due to patina. Also, being handmade, it has imperfections at sewing. It is teared a bit in 2 places, please check out pictures, but can be sewed.

Lacks a bit of green lace pattern in a corner. Can be used as wall hanging, or decorative textile on furniture as well. A lovely ethnic textile for your collection, and a great asset for those who want to have a piece of early history of Romanian traditional embroidery. Measures aprox: long = 140 cm = 55.1 inch wide = 46 cm = 18.1 inch.
