My blouses are top quality completely hand-sewn and hand embroidered on the finest gauze cotton with cotton and/or silk thread, they are pure art. The blouses are decorated with rich traditional motives which can be traced hundreds of year back in history. Some of the motives have names like The Destiny Wheel, The Chamomile, The Comb , " The Stars " , " The Flowers in Lace " , " The Eagle " and it takes a embroiderer over one month of work to finish one garment, so intricate and fine is the pattern. There is no sewing machine involved, everything is hand done. The colors and intricacy of a genuine Romanian peasant blouse, the beauty and the perfection of the Romanian embroidery are all that can complete your charm and chic. THIS IS PEASANT ART DONE. Gorgeous hand embroidered Romanian traditional costume from Banat containing 3 pieces: blouse, skirt and one wide front apron. The blouse is hand embroidered with black silk thread on tulle and the tulle is applied on white cloth, a poly blend cloth, commercial fabric very much in fashion in 1980.

The skirt is decorated on the lower hem with a beautiful row of open work / lace. Condition of the blouse and skirt: good with traces of the wear, clean and ready to be used.

Very good with minimum traces of the wear. No noticeable stain , no reparation. Measurements: blouse length: 47 cm or 18.

Around chest: 122 cm or 48 inches. Sleeve length measured from the base of neck: 70 cm or 27. The skirt is handmade on cotton fabric. Skirts length: 68 cm or 26.

Circumference of skirt: 150 cm or 59 inches. Old hand embroidered Romanian apron from Banat. It is hand embroidered with golden and silver tinsel and decorated with sequins.

Dated aprox around 1960 - 1980. It is in very good condition, slightly worn only. The size of the apron is: length 56 cm or 22 inches.

Its wide measured at the lower hem is: 106 cm or 41. Its wide around waist: 56 cm or 22 inches + tie strings.
