Romanian peasant aprons from BANAT, hand embroidered silver and golden aprons

Pair of old hand embroidered Romanian aprons from Banat. They are hand embroidered with golden and silver tinsel and decorated with sequins on black velvet. Dated aprox around 1960 - 1980. They are in very good condition, slightly worn only. The frontal apron is wide, the back apron is narrow. The size of the frontal apron is: length 71 cm or 28 inches. Its wide measured at the lower hem is: 89 cm or 35 inches. The back apron is: 77 cm or 30.
