Gorgeous Romanian peasant costume from Oltenia consisting of two pieces : hand embroidered dress and pleated hand woven floral skirt. The belt in photos is only for display. Handmade old dress from Southern Romania, Oltenia. It is hand embroidered on the shoulders and chest with pansies. One row of embroidery on the hem of the dress and on the sleeves.

Thin canvas from the store. Multicolored embroidery with cotton thread. Shoulders: 39 cm (15.35 inches). Sleeve length: 57 cm (22.44 inches). Circumference over chest: 126 cm (49.6 inches).

Waist circumference: 116 cm (45.66 inches). From shoulder to armpit: 23 cm or 9 inches. Dress length: 119 cm or 46.8 inches. Condition: good, with minimal signs of wear.

50 - 80 years old pleated overlapping traditional Romanian skirt, hand woven with multicolored fine cotton thread. It is a light apron from Oltenia, suitable for summer time.

It is pleated / creased around the upper hem and you must fix it with a needle, or buttons and a belt / sash. The maxim circumference around waist as it is pleated right now is 95 cm or 37. The lower hem circumference is 3 meters or 118 inches.

Skirt length: 70 cm or 27. As it is will fit to a waist with the maximum circumference of 95 cm or 37. Age of the skirt: 50 years. Condition: good condition, slightly used only. The skirt is worn with a large belt like the belt in photos.
